whoever placed that dragon next to moon altar cliff
needs to retire from making game ever again.
the absolute jank of this fight and the fact that he always drops down from the cliff and you have to run up to him, only for it to teleport back up again proves this game has never been playtested.

Adula? Never had any issue with the cliff.. why are you taking the dragon to the cliff? Every dragon I've found has a nice big area to fight it in right where it spawns. This isn't a play test issue.. it's just a you issue.

Shhhh. Don't ruin it for him. He's the main character.

He's not talking about a named dragon, on the same cliff as Adula there is random unnamed/respawnable glintstone dragon.

He fell off the cliff for me too, made him easy to cheese with spell spam since he never same back up, since the unnamed/respawnable dragons cannot seem to fly (or at least I've never seen it).

That said it's just farmable NPC, your not meant to really care about killing it unless you are farming dragon hearts. Same as the dragons in the dragonborrow.

If he's really talking about the nameless 3 dragons on the western side, even if they drop down they teleport back up and don't reset their HP.. Or you could easily just attack them from the cliff side so they don't back off of it. Much better options than going to the discussions crying that the game was never play tested purely because of one tiny issue..

Also, no normal enemies fly. Even if they have wings they'll at most hover off the ground.

I'd also say don't call it a "farmable NPC".. while *technically* an NPC (non-player character) that's not how any gamer would actually refer to it.. we call them mobs or monsters to differentiate between NPCs you'd talk to and such.

yeah came to that epiphany later because of a bug the first glintstone drake, never respawns. so it's that guy near the cliff.
it's not a difficult fight but for a melee character it's a nightmare once it falls off the cliff.
when you go down, he will literally teleport back. it's as if they made it intentionally to troll people.

that said you can actually farm them for hearts. no use for me but I don't like leaving optional bosses undefeated.

Those dragons aren't bosses at all.. they're just a field enemy. You find them in multiple places. They also aren't farmable for hearts or shouldn't be at least.

are we even talking about the same drakes? moon altar on the road to tiche the black knife's evergoal?
I got two hearts after killing both..... apparently they both respawn but only the cliff turd did after I killed it the other drake seems to be permanently dead.
btw I'm not talking about the dragon that gives you adulas sorcery. they were generic glintstone drakes
Jabberwock 22 MAR 2022 a las 12:46 p. m.
Those three are pretty jank. They like to land with one foot atop the random spires high in the air, and can jump down the nearby cliff to where you fight a red wolf and then teleport back up when you run down to fight them.

There are 3 dragons there. They each drop 1 heart. Even if they respawn they shouldn't ever drop another. I originally thought you were talking about Adula who is up the road from the altar, but was corrected and have mentioned multiple times that it's those 3 instead. None of them are bosses whatsoever. They're just a normal spawn. The big named dragons however are a boss.

It's also hilarious you call these 3 small dragons bosses.. then talk about Adula being a "generic glintstone drake".. The field enemies are bosses to you but the boss is generic??.. so the one that is different from all the others is "generic" but the field enemy that spawns in *many* places throughout the world is a "boss"??

exactly. Idk who playtested them. I can't imagine even the most deranged individual thinking this was good enemy placement.
the moment I went down to fight it and it teleported back up, I was about to smash my controller into dust and I fought malenia with my slow af weapon at rl 90.

this kid has no idea what he is talking about. why jump into a discussion if you aren't even that far in the game in regards to progress?
just fired up the game again to see if they both respawned and no they didn't and they both dropped dragon hearts which means they were not some generic "field enemies".
what a clown.

I have over 100 hours in the game. If something doesn't respawn that doesn't mean it's suddenly a boss or even a mini boss.. There are tons of enemies you kill that don't ever respawn. There were a group of basilisks in a catacomb that didn't respawn, does that mean they're bosses? Those dragons you're talking about spawn there, in Dragonbarrow (north Caelid), and in the mountaintops so they are a generic enemy. You also even say how you killed 2 and they dropped dragon hearts.. Okay? That's literally what I said. There are plenty of enemies that you can kill that drop special items, that still doesn't make them a boss. A special enemy? Sure, but not a boss.

Also, it's always hilarious when you morons have to go "this kid" as if somehow that's an insult when it's a complete guess. If I was a kid, how is that even an insult? "HOW DARE YOU BE YOUNG!!" For your information, though you'll try to act like I'm lying, I'm 30. Also, I'd look at how many hours you actually have in the game, which I'm assuming is far less than me, but you have your profile private which is also hilarious. You can go on mine and see how long I've been playing and even see my achievements. Just recently got all the legendary sorceries and incantations and the achievement for it.

It's you that's not far in the game in terms of progress if you only just now got there. Notice how I didn't insult you for your progress nor call you a child. Only thing I insulted here was your intelligence - or lack of - and that's completely justified with how you're behaving.

You're objectively wrong dude. They are, LITERALLY, NPC's. Game designers call them NPCs. Anything with AI that isn't the player is...an NPC.

You can call things whatever you want but they're NPCs.

I didn't read your words, just your name.
You're clearly a cultured, brick ♥♥♥♥ house of a man.

They never respawned for me. If you got the boss dragon, these aren't too bad, just don't aggro more than one. They are easily confused by the scenery and will walk slowly around big rocks while you go around the other side.

Just don't fight them near the edge of a cliff. Cliffs kill more characters than than the intro's Grafted Scion!
