Beastlure pot/Cursed/Blood pot
Does anyone know what these pots do exactly? I've used them, it seems to mark a location but I don't see to lure any beasts or whatsoever.

Beastlure if thrown will attract beasts like dogs, wolves etc so you can attack them safely or just run past then unnoticed (like alluring skulls in DS). The cursed one if thrown at an enemy, your spirit ash will attack that enemy

Will he do more damage or anything? Because it seems quite useless if all it does is select a target

No extra damage but quite good for multiple bosses
