Co-op is tied to Rune Level and Weapon Upgrade level, and also depends on what area of the map you're on.

so if I'm rl 60 in the capital and use a +9 somber weapon, no one is able to summon me?
that would honestly suck considering I enjoyed helping out people with morgott and godfrey

Keep a lower level weapon equipped and don’t go to high Rune Level. Once you get over 120, then you will find it harder to co-op. There are so many people playing now, that you should still be fine. A huge group of people will continue to play at around 120, myself included. I have no issues with coop. I can get summoned and summon without issues, all over the map.

to add to this i was getting insta summoned (i thought it would be a minor thing i can do while exploring but oh was i wrong) constantly at RL 150 and on the PvP side was also getting insta queued as long as i wasn't in the Mountain of the giants onward areas.

A +9 somber weapon is equivalent to around a +22 regular weapon, so at RL60 that's a pretty high upgrade level. A lot of people around RL60 would probably be rocking half that.

so if i maxed out all stats coop is gone for me?

If by 'stats' you mean your weapon upgrade level, then you most likely have locked yourself out of the larger lower level player base. Around RL100-150 is going to be populated with players that have max upgraded gear. You can of course find exceptions, but you'll have a much easier time finding people sticking to the above ranges.

EDIT: If by 'stats' you mean literally your stat points, then yes, you're going to find it extremely difficult to find anyone at max Rune Level because most people are finishing the game around RL100-150.

Oh okay. I am not relly that type of gamer thatplays with 10 characters/Twinks. I have 1 Mainchar. My Goal is to max all stats to 99 so i can use every build.

Well than i have to live with it. PvP doesnt concern me.

Setting down your own sign somewhat requires you to beat the previous content. Then you have to weigh whether or not you wanna help someone with a partially incomplete build, or just push forward until a "stable spot" has been achieved.

Then you also have folk that simply want to progress, not help others progress.

but when you beat radahn and caelid which is probably what most will do after rennala, you are showered with upgrade mats

I wouldn't flap over it, you will find that people tend to progress in blocks, as opposed to drips and drabs, My char is lvl 158 and I have no problem getting people to join my game or even putting my sign down and joining others games in most tough boss areas.

Radahn is optional, and only around 40% of players have beaten him. I'm talking about the player base as a whole. Of course you'll find players regardless, but statistically you're dealing with a smaller pool of people who are that low level, using high level weapons.

yikes. so in order for me to help others I have to completely ignore caelid or never use the mats that are available there...
I srsly don't understand why people hate radahn that much. he is a fun fight. malenia and her broken lifesteal is disgusting.

summoning and invasions is tied completely to the highest level weapon you have had in your inventory. If soul level is involved at all its very minimal. Essentially dont upgrade a weapon into something you dont want used against you. Makes the game to ez anyways.
