Is light equipment load it worth it?

I went light for a bit and it was really hard to see the benefit. I mostly noticed that I would stagger or fall if anything so much as sneezed on me.

Quicker roll and more i frames. Worth it depends on you and how you play. Medium load worked for me but I saw the advantage to light load when I had it.

you can dodge everything medium weight, depends on the armor too, if you want light, just wear the black knife chestpiece naked everything which makes footsteps silent, its good for running past and getting the jump on enemies, thats what im doing on my light build at least

having that armor endurance tho is kinda useful if youre not confident in your rolls.

I've found it takes a fairly large investment in endurance to maintain a light load, and with the benefits being relatively minor, I doubt it's worth it. I've been medium load the whole game so far and I haven't found attacks unreasonably difficult to dodge. There's talk about the late game being a bit less fair in that regard, so I dunno for sure, but there's ways to compensate if it REALLY became an issue.

your roll covers considerably more distance, which is actually very useful. it makes disengaging from an enemy doing a combo much easier and just allows a greater degree of mobility in general. it's why bloodhound step is so popular, it's all the benefits of a fast roll and more at the press of a button

does it? I really can't tell, fextra says it's the exact same, tried it and can't really tell the difference myself, the animation has changed but nothing about it other than that feels any different.

Yes if you equip the equivalent of lloyds ring and the one that gives boost when hp is maxed. Can do some crazy things if you happen to be adequate at rolling.
