those games were fun to replay, since it gets easier n faster. dks2 n 3 lost that.. 3 only due to its linearity... n elden ring is way too bloated. fatigue creeps on u.
im over 100 hrs in ER n who even knos if im close to the end lol
you can complete elden ring in 30 hours average if you only follow the main route.
100 hours for a complete playthrough is if you do EVERYTHING.
i'm on ng+ after 90 hours myself will hit all achieves by 100 easily.
NG+ is a breeze, though. Knowing where everything is and not bothering with side content because you already own everything means you can blaze through the main stuff in record time. I got from the starting cave all the way to Morgott and the Elden Tree ****block in just a couple of hours.
I was going to go back and fight the last few bosses I missed, but I'm officially burnt out. Not putting the game down for it; I'd much rather a game be too long than too short if it's trying to be open world. I usually don't finish open world games at all. *shrug*
Same, and totally agree. I mean if you combined Dark Souls and Breath of the Wild you would get exactly this game. I can't even believe From made something like this, I did not expect it at all.
I went straight to Caelid after Limgrave. That... took a while. Then I was exploring around Liurnia before entering the Raya Lucaria academy and ran into Ranni so I did Ranni's questline. Then I did Fia's and D's quests.
I'm just now tackling Altus and Leyndell and I'm at 150 hours already, making sure I discover at least 90% of points of interest in each area before I move on...
Yeah, game is effin' huge. I'm not complaining, but I doubt I'll do a second run. It's just too time consuming for an adult with a job.
What I wish is that I only played the games that I like."
Peak gamer.
