George R. Martin's involvement?

Just curious if anyone knows what he did exactly for the development of this game. What I've played so far all has felt very Miyazaki-ish, so I was wondering what he did outside putting his name on it for marketing hype. I thought I recalled hearing he just helped building the world, but I haven't been able to confirm it. Anyway, PC port issues aside, I've been absolutely loving this game.

They haven't said exactly... he was involved in building the core lore and story, but it's clear he didn't "write" it. FromSoft did. He basically gave them a bunch of raw ideas and characters and they took it and ran with it.

Then you can find a bunch of Game of Throne references throughout the game as little easter eggs which I'm sure they did as a nod to him.

He wrote the lore, created the world and backstories. As we have all seen in Game of Thrones, he is brilliant at creating things. Just make sure you get someone talented to finish it for him. In this case, with Elden Ring, I believe we do.
