i was just playing elden ring and i exited the game tried hoping on and it said the key used was no longer valid anyone what i should i sent an email to steam and about to send an email to g2g

Taking a quick glance, the G2G site is not reputable. You may have to chalk this one up as a loss and this would ultimately be dealt with via you and G2G.

Versus GreenManGaming and Humble Bundle that offer legitimate Steam keys. And I think one other site that escapes me at the moment. Though the refund policy may be stricter than Steam.

Green Man Gaming is a legit retail site. They buy there keys directly from the Developers. They often have good prices to. Far safer than a reseller.

Humble Store sells steam keys as well and is a valid retailer. I've yet to have issues with any keys I get from there [both on the rare sale buy or from their bundles]

Yes but its a charge back on the stolen credit card that is not in the buyers name..SO Steam most likely will not punish the buyer in my opinion. Still there is that possibility.

ya, if it's through steam then maybe not. If he was to sell the game direct and someone issued a chargeback, there would be a fee involved. Steam is probably large enough that fee may be waived.

The fee is tacked on to whatever source actually did the transaction. So, in the case of the OP it would be g2g, if he issues a chargeback.

You should have done more research on these sites before buying anything off it.

Game is available in steam so why not use steam to buy it.

What's the point saving a few bucks so you can play for a few days and then get your key revoked....

I've bought several games through G2A and never had a key revoked once activated. It can mean the difference between $20 and $60 sometimes.

thats fine, but since you are only going through a third party instead of buying directly from them you risk getting stolen keys. enjoy.

That's great and all, but the people that do buy games this way deserve what they get when it goes wrong. It works until it doesn't, especially when it comes to a site notorious for failing to act on sellers providing keys bought with stolen credit cards and such.
