can you get banned for this?

question, can people get banned for using mods? since this game has an anti cheat, i thought its a valid question. because in DS3 for example, you could play with mods no problem as long as you were offline, but in ER i hear it gives an error msg that scares people for a potential ban wave in the future..

Disabling EAC by default forces you to play offline, and there's nothing to detect your mods if you do so.

Just make sure to not connect online with that save, depending on the mods they might be baking data that the anticheat won't like into your character/s.

Yes you will banned. Altered game files will flag and result in a ban. You're required to disable EAC to use mods and this forces you into offline play.

Disable the anti-cheat:
For the mod loader to work, you must disable the anti-cheat, you can use this tool to easily disable it: Anti-cheat toggler

If you polay offline only you won't be banned.
If you play offline, edit some files then go online, you will be banned.
If you play offline, edit some files but remove them, (including saves) replace with original files then go online, you won't be banned.

play offline.. if u modify the files in the game and using it online you probably will get ban

before go offline, backup your save
then go offline and mod the game
when you want to go online, delete entire save file, delete mod files, restore the backup save then go online
