no stake of Miraka near fire giant?
usually there's one close to every main boss, but fire giant has none, I have to travel all the way back to him every time i get killed..

Depending on which chain you walk over to get to the fog wall there should be a site of grace very close. If its the left chain it should be to the right, the right chain and it should be to the left.

they really should make an easy mode for this game. Mode for CASULS.

Yeah, (only) four annoying runs to bosses that I remember:

To Godskin Duo - Short-ish way, but strong, quick mobs.
To Dragonlord - One of the longest ways, no enemies, but a close drop-off.
Renalla - Rather long way, but easy boss, so nobody runs the way 50 times.
Some mine with two elevators to the boss and no stake of Marika - can't remember the name.

Honorable mention:

Radahn - if you want to summon everybody and include that in the 'run to the boss', it takes upwards of two minutes to refight him.
