Castle Sol & Left Side of the Haligtree Secret Medallion

Help, all guides I google say go to Castle Sol but fail to actually tell me how to get there. How do I actually get there if I can't use the lift? Guide says follow paths. The only path is to the lift with cliff on both sides. What am I missing?

Castle Sol is to the north, you can get down to its general level via the graveyard area there, in the northwestern part of it. Grace point "snow covered ruin lookout" (something like that) looks over Castle Sol from above.

Have you been to the Leynell Capital? I'm not sure if the bosses there / Melina is required to get the key to the lift you'll need for the Mountain of the Giants.

There's an exit there (I think it's kind of on the ground level and north-ish if I'm not mistaken, so you may have to backtrack a little to get to it) that will take you eastward to an elevator that leads down into the Forbidden Lands, then another elevator there that takes you up, but I think you have to do story for that lift.

I am at the Forbidden Land grace site. Cliffs on both sides. At the Lift.

Ah! Good to know. I was a bit lost for a time and just ended up stumbling upon that after touring the city for a couple hours.

I don't remember where I got the key to the lift next to the old woman though.
