As a tip: if I'm not mistaken, her summons despawn after some time.
It is a little throwback to how the series used to be.
We once even had to fight hordes of enemies to reach a boss every single time
I honestly didn't even know she could summon stuff until later as I ended up curb stomping her before she was even able to.
also i was playing blind and it took me like a day to figure out a way into the dang academy
op upgrade your weapon and spam r1 on her is what im saying
Furthermore, you shouldn't having to run through any enemies on the way over to her, you can stop the boulder from rolling and then run up to her boss room from there. Look around that house a bit more, there should be a jump you can do on the side of the building, then crawl up the ladder.
Hard agree on the grace though, it's not that it's too far, it's just the RNG of the wizard enemies that annoys me though. Getting a cheap shot in the back just before the elevator is BS.
She tries to keep pressure on you but she staggers easily, so she's forced to relocate often instead but she simply does not move enough to get away from hyper aggressive players.
She is almost objectively the easy shardbearer in the game, just keep trying.
