Does anyone use throwables?
I started using kukrid and they actually scale really well and do good damage.

That's pretty sweet. I recently started killing wildlife with a bow and you get a ton of ingredients for those chicken feet things too. It's pretty awesome.

All the time in PvP. The Barker Bomb Bait is alive and well.

throwing knives are very good in pvp against people using the opaline bubble tear

oh yea. knives and bombs also stunlock and interrupt casts. try it on some enemy near a bonfire. kill them with just throwables. see if you can stop their big wind-up attacks, then try to punish them while they recover from that stunlock.

oh. damage is not the point of throwables. unless you have a throwable that'll one-shot someone OR setup an un-interruptable combo that lets you one-shot them some other way.

ER is a fighting game just as much as an exploration game. hf

bottom tier bone darts explode dragonflies. And before you get a bow (or are too lazy to equip and swap to it) you can get he attention of the less shameful "entire zipcode away, over a bridge, that triggers a rear ambush partway onto walking across it" ambush bait enemies or dogs that darts can actually reach.

Also a couple bosses with that shameful "I'm not dead! I'm not dead! I have an invisible pixel of health I can still beat you!" have met their end to me saying ♥♥♥♥ it and hammering the bone dart pouch button for like, ♥♥♥♥ all damage.

"I'm not dead! I'm not dead! You can't see any red on my health bar but I'm not dead! I'm going to teleport and summon a giant and kill you-" *crap damage bone dart to Renella's stupid hat*

Actualyl damage is pretty important on throwables! They are very good for finishing off people low on hp and about to heal.

Kukris are pretty much my secondary weapon. Poison knives have their uses.
Skeleton Minion Mar 20, 2022 @ 8:22pm
Put on the pophelm and firebombs dealing close to 400 damage a pot.

Yeah, consumables are very useful both in PvE and PvP.

That's awesome to hear. I don't see a lot of people using them but when I finally started it was like a whole world opened up. It actually made hunting wildlife rewarding too.

always daggers for situational kills. i managed to kill renala and margit by throwing 3 daggers to them since i was 1hp and i didnt want to risk getting close.

I always used kukris.. they are awesome. Since it requires to much farming to rely on throwables I tend to only use the stuff I can buy.
