reliable melee weapon for NG+?
Im honestly just trying to do NG+1 and 2 as fast as possible to get the last 2 remaining achievments, my main concern are the bosses near the end and the damage of the godslaying greatsword is starting to fall off by maliketh

any particularly cheesy weapon that doesnt need a mix of stats to work? with all I have on dex, str and fai I feel like it could be way more optimized

so like not a "meta" build or anything, just something that bonks REALLY hard and scales well, and i guess deals no holy damage, since the final boss absorbs that.

I've been thinking of 2 powerstanced greatswords with bloodhound quickstep lol, but maybe theres something less obvious and maybe quite faster

I'm in NG+5 and dual nagakibas are still serving me well enough. My main ashes of war are bloodhound step, seppuku, and thunderbolt. A source of bleed seems to be pretty important because of how much health bosses have.

I currently am power stancing Dark Moon Greatswords.

I'm NG+5 and use dual Bloodhound's Fangs. Most bosses die before bleed even procs.

I'm in NG+4 I use dual greatswords with bloodloss, using an ash of war doesn't matter which. If you want a bloodloss build arc now is useful. 168 blood loss on each I do about 2k dmg per swing and bloodloss every other swing unless its a heavily armored foe. I used Uchi's as well but I like the staggering effect the colossal weapons give against fast attacking foe like knights. Use Black Raptor chest piece and claw talisman for extra dmg on jump attacks. Heavy build but i use 2 talisman's for more weight. Also use the silver tear mask for 8+ Arc. Best build I've used since I was using sword of night and flame

Ordovis' greatsword. You need to be a strength faith character, but it is the most reliable weapon and build for however many runs you want.

Try using the cheesiest weapon in the game, Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear. It's just an AOE bleed weapon that deletes things in the same the boss Mohg deletes you if you stand too close to him when he's blooding everything nearby.

hm..., this + the mimic doing the exact same thing seems eeeevil for bleed damage, i just wish the final bosses were more susceptible to it

I would also recommend bleed of some kind, since it does percentage damage. Your mimic will use it as well and help with the status buildup.
