No official strategy guide?
Seems there is none so far, unlike with many of the Souls games.

I would have loved a printed encyclopedia and compendium of ashes, weapons, bosses etc.

I know Prima is closed but theres Bradygames one, Piggyback and a few other editorials.

Missed opportunity imo!

idk strategy guides as coffee book tomes kinda died out with rise of youtube guides, gamefaqs etc. it'd be cool to have some marriage between the two with the Design Works or Art Books. Art Books are dope

Opinions apart they are still publishing strategy guides for many current games, like assassins creed valhalla, cyberpunk, far cry 6, horizon forbidden west etc so its strange, maybe license related, that theres none for elden ring

There is a strategy guide that came with the game if you pre-ordered it, but uh... you're not missing much.

All that's in there is 10 pages of pretty pictures and about two paragraphs worth of "here's a couple items we think are good ideas to focus on gathering." "Bonfires exist but now they random glowy light pieces." "This is Melina and she can help you level up and teleport you to Roundtable Hold one time so you can fast-travel there." "Oh yeah that's Margit. good luck have fun bye"

Checked amazon, sekiro has a future press guide, ultra high quality, hard cover, 5 stars rated, and so sought after they sell for 3x their release price.

Really expected elden ring to have one. Next assassins creed, zelda, dragon quest or resident evil game will get one for example, theres sagas that always get it.

And after checking, most of Souls games, even sekiro, got high quality official strategy guides.

Yeah, that cant be compared to an official strategy guide, so maybe it was a license thing or sth like that. Good to know anyway ty
