Alexander missing?

So after Radahns fight i talked to Alexander and he left, then when i went to where they are supposed to be next they weren't there, no matter how much i progress they are not where they need to be. I can't find anything online about this atm so i have no clue how to fix this or if i even can fix it. Anyone got any idea what to do?

Some of the comments regarding him mention that he skips some steps of his questline for whatever reason, who knows.

I was meant to meet him at the cave but he wasnt there for me, he should be a Redmane castle but havent gotten there yet (with my alt)

If you progress past were he could be summoned sometimes he just isn't there.

For me, AFTER the Radahn fight and punching him once to get him out in Limgrave he was at Liurnia of the lakes and I had to free him with the oil. (so for me he was never at Gael Tunnel)

After that he was at seethewater terminus and then at crumbling farm Azula.

So my progress for him was . Clapped him out of hole 1 in Limgrave (then I did all kinds of random stuff and didnt even know he had a questline after that), did Ranni's questline and found Alexander at Radahn's castle, he helped me, I spoke to him after the battle. (apparently you can skip the Gael tunnel part like this)

Next was Liurnia where I had to free him with oil
then seethewater terminus in the lava

(apparently you can summon him to fight Fire giant with you but I had killed fire Giant before I found him in the lava)

Final part was after defeating the dragon in Crumbling Farum thing.


@op best thing you could do is go to all locations

@op best thing you could do is go to all locations

He is supposed to he stuck in the hole near Jarburg but he never went there, guess i will just go everywhere he can be then
