I can draw the line that dictates at which point I will recognise an accomplishment wherever I want. Thanks.
Hi Monk,
I think rune duping may be a major part of the OP's concerns.
There are some players around here that were looking to dupe stacks of Hero Runes.
e.g. copy your save, join multiplayer, leave the hero runes for partner, paste with your save when you still had the runes, repeat, until you both have a full stack of these runes.
Really, as the highest zone is like 70, I'd say anything beyond thst is overleveled.
If you play online, thst gives you advantages to, so I hope you didn't beat it over 70 and online, no max level weapons or summons either.
Oh and it better of been a blind first time play through with no experience of other souls games either else you beating it doesn't count either as knowing the systems is more of an advantage than extra levels.
Way to many people seem to base their personality on the fact they play these games, it's, kind of sad.
I guess it's a good job I don't value your opinion then, isn't it?
Ahh, didn't read like that, if that's the case, fair enough, I refuse to dupe anything, once I finally beat the game today or tomorrow I plan to go farm about 100 levels so I can swap between various play styles on ng+ runs, but I'll do it the good ol boring way lol
But I am at like 170 hours on this character already...
No, farming runes to achieve a higher level than the developers intended when designing the areas in the game. I thought that was pretty clear but hopefully you understand now.
every DS game got a farmin spot. and those who cant overcome the game at low lvl use it.
Also if you are cooperating you get tone of runes - is this cheesing when you help ppl? in your words it is.
I think you meant to say 'What we decided is proper with 0 authority to do so.'
There's more tools in my toolbox than the mimic tear, boy. Got sorceries, got incantations, got bleed weapons, frost weapons, ranged weapons, a variety of ashes to make use of based on the situation and my mood. I'm wise enough to recognize a challenge, and then make use of my tools to make it easier.
Plus, anyone who leaves their mimic tear to fight a boss with the wrong build will just result in a dead mimic. My build especially isn't too great for the mimic ashes, as I run a spellblade with the Darkmoon Greatsword. Dumb thing likes to throw out glintstone pebbles while I'm the one knee deep in the melee...
Sure, doesn't matter how you get the runes, if you're overleveled then you're cheesing. I don't care if people want to play that way, it doesn't affect me in the slightest. But don't expect anyone to care that you beat the game if you cheesed it. It's nothing special.
