Any tips on the human centipede?
Close quarters, no horse, no summons. Magic user, is one decent melee weapon. This thing seems to jump on me instantly and shreds 1400 HP in a second. Block gets chomped through, rolling backwards doesn't help, and neither does the rolling forward. What is the deal with this guy?

You can use the lowest type of heal for massive dmg and instant downing.

You need to roll early against this enemy, and stick close to avoid poison.

Additionally, as others have noted healing yourself via flasks/incantations/whatever does severe damage and trivializes the encounter.

Ah yeah, the Revenants... easily the worst enemy of the game.

Interesting I did not know that.

Another option that I found extremely simple is to simply hit it with Flames of Redmane 2-3x and it staggers. Make sure it is on a rapier or the Miserocorde with their high crits. It will finish it off easily.

Any aoe heal seem to do a lot of damage against them, but if you're not running a faith build that's not gonna be an option. If you have it, bloodhound step it once they do their punching flurry since it gives you not only a lot of i frames but also plenty of distance.

I cheesed this guy with hit and run out of aggro. But I will try the healing thing.

You need 12 faith for the miracle buff and/or the fire buff. Defintely worth the investment.

Thanks! I have these buffs but didn't consider them worth the bang. Will try them.
