How can I unequip a spell?

I don't intend to use this right now as I'm not putting points toward it but I accidentally put this in so now it is always on my screen at the top, and I have looked high and low on how to unequip it. It's distracting with the red X on it.

Changed if you have others to swap in, but I have found no way to just clear the slot completely.

There is a menu prompt telling you how to remove it? Ppl nowadays cant read for ♥♥♥♥

What really drives me wild is if you want to keep a specific order of spells, you need to delete several to refill them in that order if you pull one out of the middle of your order,

If you rest at the site, click memorize spells, then if controller hit Square/X on the spell you wish to remove from your bar

You can individually swap spells out instead of removing and keep your placements. A bit less janky this way.

Not an option. I assumed it might be like the Pouch key options but nope. It looks like the only way once you drop one in a memory slot is to swap another in, but you cannot fully remove, at least on KBM.

I Use "R" to remove normally for everything else. dunno if it applies here.

If you look at the memorize spell screen. Yes, the WHOLE screen, there should be a button prompt to also REMOVE spells from the list.

when you in memorize spell screen, you must click R key on you keyboard for remove spell.
