Did you fight Godskin Duo without summons?

Because I sure as heck didn't. I beat them on the 2nd try because I decided to go 100% on all of my options after seeing them the first time, particularly the weird bugginess of Godskin Noble during this fight.

For one, it's not just 2 guys. I thought it would be 2 guys. With Recusant Bernahl to take heat for you, it's actually 5-6 guys.

Then there's Noble glitching all over the place. All but one of the Nobles that showed up did an instant transition between fatrolling and stabbing, with no animation inbetween. Apostle was just off to the side... being an Apostle... while Noble is pulling off DBZ combos on my spirit summons, and then Bernahl, and then me. He never did that when I fought him anywhere else.

first time? summon, killed on 1st attempt.
now on ng+ because im recording a full solo run, will let you know how it goes when i get there.

nope. used summons and didn't feel bad about it at all. I'll probably try the sleep strat in ng+, but screw fighting both head on

First time with mimic second try. On ng+ I rofl stomped them with max poise and dual colossal swords, one of the being ruin greatsword. No summon required. Literally just spamming l2 .. roll behind pillar.. chugging hp and fp .. rinse and repeat.

Everyone talks about magic, bleed etc. I can just laugh at that.

nah no need for summons on this one just walked around the room taking the occasional stab at either of them when the opportunity arose.
this boss fight is mainly a test of patience.
beat them on my 4th attempt. All of those deaths were to noble just randomly deciding to roll over the pillar base and kill me.

There are alot of cheesy methods to make it an easy fight. Summons and spirits being one of the less cheesy things to do.....

never tried it, just summoned an ash soon as i saw two of em. dunno why i should put more effort into a fight than fromsoft did
