No you dont understand, when you put a message on a boss bonfire spot the message will overwrite the bonfire. There is no option to switch action aviable.

Wow, you are special kind of person, one that dont even try to test something in game but still argues about it online. Now lets start from beggining. Code this in your dense head: messages never block anything, they dont take prority over something, and they cant deny you access to site of grace (its not dark souls dude, its not a bonefire). Just go on and test it in game instead clowning yourself like others. Im still amazed that so many people can be so wrong about so obvious thing that can be tested in seconds within game that I wonder if people just troll me.

Krz.. you would think that if this amount of people claim to have an issue... maybe it is actually an issue. I have personally had it happen where a message and a grace are in the same spot. I have the option to read the message and no prompt to switch actions. This fundamentally makes the site of grace unusable. Whether you choose to acknowledge it or not, it is a problem.

year some graces trigger spots are messed up and only activate at certain angle,
but if one person figures it out, that you can only activate the grace on that 1 specific spot, you can poterntially block the location, personally, never had it happen

Or how about stop beeing a ♥♥♥♥ and do what you write yourself? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ test it yoursefl then, i had two boss bonfires (i will continue to use bonfire because it triggers idiot like you) so far blocked out because of it.

reload the area by quitting out. a friend had the same problem and this fixed it

Okay, to be clear on what's happening here:

There's currently a bug in the game, which seems to have come in with 1.03, where some graces that spawn when a boss is defeated can be misaligned, so the grace graphic and the hotspot where the 'touch grace' prompt appears aren't in the same place. If someone has placed a message on the grace, this can make it appear that the grace is 'blocked'. It isn't, but it looks like it is. If the hotspot were correctly aligned, the 'switch action' prompt would appear.

To work-around the bug, start at the grace and gradually spiral outwards. You'll find the correct spot usually a character length or so away. Alternatively, quit to the title screen and restart the game, which causes the grace hotspot to be reset to the correct position.

Placing messages on graces, ladders, doors etc is annoying and can even get you killed if you don't notice what's happened in time, but it can't actually 'block' the object. Just use one of the work-arounds for now and wait for the next patch.

Kinda? But I had this issue before and there was a message on the grace with no option to toggle to the grace. But what ended up happening was, the option to sit down at the grace (and the animation of it) was a few feet away from where the grace itself was shown to be.

Exactly. Nothing was blocked by a message, the user is just standing in the wrong spot.
Sometimes it's the players fault (like ladders) and other times it's the games fault (like mimic tear site of grace).

If anything is a problem, it's trying to change weapons when there are multiple bloodstains/messages around--you're prevented from switching weapons and instead cycle through bloodstains/messages.
