Aspect of the crucible: Horns

Anyone who uses is, what're your thoughts? It seems like a cool skill, but I can't really see it used outside of pve. It has very piss poor tracking.

I think it does too little damage for the amount of FP and massive amount of stamina it drains. The only upsides to it is that it can knockup enemies and it gives a bunch of poise on use.

I have 236 Incantation scaling and I only get 575 uncharged and 693 charged.

Provided you hit.. This thing can't track for ♥♥♥♥. It can curve ever so slightly at the very end of the charge. Feels very underpowered and unrewarding. Still fun to use. Seems like incantations were at the bottom of the priority list. Sorcery always being the favourite child ;-;

I wouldn't worry too much, I have a feeling incantations next in line to get some treatment next patch.

Hope so. Personally, I don't worry much about the damage of Horns as I do about it's tracking. It's damn near useless in pvp. Very situational, when someone is stuck in a lengthy animation. Which is rare, considering the current meta is noobveil and robbers copycats. Maybe the occasional greatshield spear turtle, but I'd rather deal with turtles than... This.

Christ, I know nothing's really ideal on launch day, but for the love of god, why're patches taking so long.
