Are the paintings worth seeking out?
What exactly do you get for them all? I don't care for spoilers, and I'm already on NG+ too so story-wise it's irrelevant. I'm just curious if it's actually worth it.

Since launch I've just thought it was fan service for the painter from DS3, or to put the idea in people's heads that The Lands Between could be her new painted world or something, despite a lot of inconsistencies and pretty much being confirmed it's not related to DS at all lol.

You find the ghost NPC at the spot, interact with them and it disappears and you get a spell. That's how it has been for me anyways.
