...but then you started getting CTDs after the game launches (just after Easy AC)?

EDIT: DISCORD OVERLAY was doing it. I turned it on to test it under another game (known to crash with said overlay) and forgot to turn it off.

If you're getting white screen and/or black screen and then crashes to the desktop, make sure Discord overlay isn't the reason for your troubles.
