Anyway to enter the Royal Capital while maidenless?

I'm doing a NG+ maidenless run and, despite having 4, I apparently don't have enough Great Runes to enter the city. Either from the underground, or from the regular entrance.

Both entrances state: "You cannot proceed without more Great Runes"

You could get rennala and rykard i think. Let yourself be captured by the virgin abductor down the lift in the academy to get ported to the volcano manor. After that you can enter the capital

I have Rykard, Rennala, Godrick, and Radahn's Great Runes. As far as I know, these are the only ones I can get without access to the Royal Capital. Yet despite that, I can not enter the capital.

I don't think it's possible to beat the game without her help. Unless there's another way into the snow zone without the lift access she gives you.

but there seems to be no way (non glitch) for now

There are two ways to get into Leyndell Capital: The obvious way, and a secretive roundabout long route that takes you through several hidden areas to reach a backdoor sending gate.

Alas, neither of them are bueno, because both methods deposit you before the "L + Ratio + Maidenless + Not Enough Great Runes" barrier that blocks off entry to the capital.

That's rather disappointing. I wonder why we even get a choice then, to decline her. Rather than her just saying something like "I shall play the roll of maiden."

That chest in the Weeping Peninsula drops you off at the Divine Bridge. That place can take you to Malenia's Divine Tower, but early access to the Capital proper is not possible because the lift is stuck in the Down position until you come back to activate it from the other side.

None of those options work.
Probably because From wants you to follow the story at some point as Melina is required for some endings and I don't think you can reach Mountaintops without medallion she gives you.

U sure? Invaders can't operate elevators that the host hasn't interacted with

They should really just change the text to be more clear about the issue if it is the case that they didn't intend for you to beat the game maidenless. Something like "Only those guided by the hand of a maiden can pass" Ah well, thanks for the responses.
