Kenneth Haight quest

Kenneth Haight has a golden seed that he does not give you when he moves to the throne room with Nepheli. He also mentions going back to the fort to make you a knight. This implies to me him just chilling in the throne room isn't the end of his quest. Has anyone found more to it?

For the record, there are waaaay more golden seeds in the game than necessary. I just entered the capital and I'm maxed out already.

From what I've read, we have to kill Morgott first to make them finally move to Stormveil

I take the fact that he drops it as an indication that it's meant to be a reward at the end of the quest chain, like how you could get Diallos's helmet and whip before the patch by murdering him.

Give Nephili the stormhawk ashes, then rest at Godrick bonfire, the one just outside stormveil throneroom.
That should do it.
