Game not launching
After clicking on the play button in steam, the smaller window will pop up and finish its course, than the game will launch. But upon launching all I see is a white screen for 30 seconds than the game will close itself out. My other games in steam still work and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Still only getting the white screen of unresponsiveness.

If you are using msi afterburner make sure you upgrade to newest build.
That fixed the white screen crash for me.

Try uninstalling the Epic Games Launcher from your Windows apps

Literally did all I could. Validated files, run as admin, windowed mode launch options, reinstall the entire game, and checked for updates. Always freezes at the white band screen when loading.

This was working just fine even with the recent update, but since ending my session last night now I can't run.

What I was experiencing:

When I clicked on the LAUNCH button in Steam I got the Easy Anti-Cheat/Elden Ring startup window telling me that its initializing...for about 15 seconds before it says Waiting for game for about 2 seconds. Then it went to a full white screen with a beige stylistic pointer for about 5 seconds. That dissapears and takes me back to the Steam window. I had no errors and no indication of what was wrong. *^%$#^*&*

What I did (over the course of a combined 4 hours) to try and ultimately succeed to fix Elden Ring not launching:

verified integrity of game files (x3)
verified most recent graphics driver (x2)
verified most recent Windows update installed
disabled all potential overlays
verified from the Task Manager that Elden Ring is not already running
uninstalled and re-installed the game then verified the integrity of the files again
cleared the Steam download cache (x2)
verified my graphics settings are correct for my monitor(s)
disabled my password manager
disabled my VPN
allowed Steam and Elden Ring through my firewall
created TCP and UDP rules to ultimately allow all Steam access through my firewall
opened the Elden Ring executable file as an admin
opened the Steam executable as an admin
verified that I have the latest version of the game
disabled my firewall for a short period
verified no missing DirectX 12 dependencies by running the End-User Runtime Web installer
*****And finally*****
Uninstalled the Epic Games Launcher
F**k you Epic and your launcher

Literally tried almost everything you did besides the Epic Launcher as I would never think of doing that.
