thanks for the suggestion :) unfortunately, i can't seem to find anything that'd be doing that. i have removed anything that has overlays, including GeForce, in my attempts to get it working.
based on my attempts to get this thing operational, i think it's something to do with easy anti-cheat. the only time i've been able to get the game to the title screen is when running the game directly from the .exe in the game folder. even that seems to only work half the time, though..
Could it be Acer's PredatorSense? I use it mainly to control my laptop's fans, but it does have other functionality that might be interfering? I'm not sure. This is such a weird issue.
It could be, I checked the website and notice it has some GameSync and Monitoring functionalities (probably the latter), so try turning those off for Elden Ring and check again. Hope you can resolve it :D
Also indeed they updated EAC, so they probably overtuned it. Hopefully Bandai takes note and checks again for sometime next week, it's a bit exaggerated.

Tried this as well, to no results. v.v I think I just need to accept the game's broken and pray they patch it soon. I really hate how many issues the PC version of this game has. It is such a flawless game when it works.
I did a clean reinstall of my drivers and even used DDU to clean everything nothing worked.
You need to go and manually delete the content inside DXCache folder.
C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\DXCache
You need to close almost all programs that use NVIDIA.
Let me know if this solution works for you too. GOOD LUCK.
For this fix you will need to perform a CLEAN installation of your Nividia Graphics Driver by following the steps below (*NOTE* Please perform steps in sequential order, exactly as written. If you do not follow these instructions to the letter, the fix may not work. For obvious reasons, I also can't guarantee this fix will resolve your issue, but I'm still sharing it to try and help others who have suffered for weeks from this problem.
Steps You should take BEFORE attempting this fix:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
***REQUIRED*** - Download a physical copy of the NIVIDIA Drivers for YOUR graphics card, directly from NIVIDIA's website (https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us).
***REQUIRED*** - If you tampered with Elden Ring or Steam in anyway, I highly recommend you refresh your Steam by reinstall, just to be safe. This fix was performed with a fresh install of Steam.exe.
***OPTIONAL*** - Create a system restore point, in case unforseen issues occur.
***OPTIONAL*** - Turn off internet (airplane mode), so that your PC does not try to reach out and redownload the drivers automatically upon deletion of current drivers, or when you restart.
PART 1: Uninstalling NIVIDIA Display Drivers:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Right click on the Start button then choose Device Manager.
2. From the list in Device Manager choose Display Adapters.
3. A list of available display adapters will appear.
4. Right click on the display adapter to be uninstalled [for me it was NIVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti], and pick Uninstall device.
5. On the uninstall device window, check the box for [] Delete the driver software for this device. Select Uninstall to complete the uninstall.
6. Once completed, the adapter will no longer appear in the list.
7. Restart the computer.
PART 2 - Reinstalling NIVIDIA Display Drivers:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1: Navigate to the folder where you saved the NVIDIA Package Launcher [e,g: 511.79-desktop-win10-win11-64bit-international-dch-whql.exe].
2. Run the NVIDIA Display Driver installer. The Display Driver Installer appears.
3. Follow installer directions until final screen. Do not reboot.
4. When prompted, select No, I will restart my computer later (you can restart for peace of mind, but I did not have to perform a restart to resolve the error).
5. Click Finish.
PART 3 - Run Elden Ring and Test Application functionality:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you haven't already, reinstall EldenRing within Steam and once it's done try running the game again like normal.
If the ErdTree blesses you with favor, your issue may be resolved, otherwise, I suppose it is back to the drawing board for thee lowly Tarnished, and I will be sorry to have wasted your time.
Good luck everyone, and if this fix works for you, please pass it on to others in need.
Specs of the rig this fix was performed on:
-----------------------------------------------------------
Graphics Card NIVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti
System Model Z390 AORUS MASTER
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
After starting from a clean slate, I replaced the EAC exe with a copy of eldenring.exe to bypass the anticheat and now my game works just fine.
Not only that, but it runs *better* than it did when EAC worked. All the stuttering and frame drops I've had have vanished except in very rare zone-loading situations.
EAC sucks lol
damn :( i've also turned off steam's cloud saves for the game and started completely fresh, but i don't know if that actually had any effect on the white screen crash. i hope you can figure it out! this bug is super super annoying.
