bloodhound step is broken and if you argue otherwise you most probably use it
stupidly benefitting spacing device used for literally anything to do with healing up to aggression, can dodge spells and incantations which are practically undodgeable (stars of ruin), which I'm NOT advocating for, just using as an example. No stamina costs = minimal FP costs where 2 cerulean flasks will give you enough for however long a battle as you want if used well, and worst of all its used for some of the most broken aggression play this game has to offer. if the only way to dodge some of the most broken stuff in this game is to use BH step, then why would anyone use anything different?

one of the most broken arts in the game.

It gives you so many i-frames that you can start your next attack animation and still be invincible. far too safe to be as cheap in cost as it is. The bloodhound enemies are notably squishy so I would suggest having the art either give you a debuff to defenses or have a healthcost on top of the fp cost like bloody slash

Every time I use it I just end up sliding into someone and into their attack, not around them or anything.

It's only busted because of how cheap the resource cost is. If they cranked up the cost of use i wouldn't have a problem with it.

healthcost would make little to no sense, but making it just use more stamina than a normal roll would fix most of the issues with people using it willy nilly

yeah I dont think it should be gutted but it for sure needs a larger tradeoff for use

A health cost would stop people from spamming it endlessly. It can literally save your life multiple times in just a single encounter. It shouldn't be something used to be alternative to a roll like it currently is, it should only be something used in key situations like to escape like certain death or heavily capitalize on a punish opportunity, its almost as fast as just running, but completely invincible at the same time. As it stands people just spam it and a stamina cost wont stop them from doing that unless emptied like a huge amount of stamina

Might as well just remove the abilities from the game, by the time you lot are through they'll all cost heaps and do nothing.

hm . . . sounds good to me actually! Ashes of war are meant to be niches advantages to either catch people off guard by adding to your initial moveset or provide a small advantage, you aren't meant to spam them as a main attack or move.

I agree the skill is very annoying to deal with, due to the low cost of it, and the sheer amount of pressure you can apply on enemies and iframes ofc.

I mostly see these on bleed users kek

it's basically just an upgraded dodge roll.

it's Op for sure yeah, but at least it's not insta-death level of OP.

Afterall, there is FP usage.

It is my go to on 3v1 and they usually do that too, besides it's a godsend in PVE.
