Is there any ways to turn off the message??

I got a message of some troll spam right in the Grace and I cant touch the grace. How can I turn those off....

From Software really needs to make it possible to disable these without going offlline. I want to play coop with my friends, but I really, really hate the immersion breaking messages all over the environment.

happened to me while i was trying to do the 3rd? Bounty that Tanith gave me.

There was a message exactly on the grace and the prompt to activate it just didnt appear, I had to like visit another grace, restart the game then come back to activate it.

I think it bugged for me once. I couldn't get the interact for the Forge of the Giant's Grace which I believe was because there was so many messages and bloodstains around it.
I could only cycle between bloodstains and messages. I could touch it once I went offline.

Would be nice to have the option to remove a specific message from your own world tho. Better yet an option to hide ones that are too close to interactables.

I play with messages since it's always funny to see the ♥♥♥♥ people can make up and the tips etc (which makes the game feel more interactive, as if multiple people from other worlds are simultaneously helping others on the same journey as them).

But ofc there'll always be troll messages on the fcking bonfire of all places.

Theres also people who put messages on every fcking ladder and jebait us into viewing it instead of going up the ladder to avoid an enemy or smthn.

Honestly I was thinking the same thing last night.. I still wanna play online, but theres so many people posting messages... I was in Darkroot Gardens last night and there was seriously a trail of like 15 messages leading me to a grace.. I was like, ok, well thats kinda not.. fun... lol

Theres always messages that say left or right or above when theres an ambush or something... It prevents a lot of unnecessary deaths. So I started countering these messages with my own anti-hints. If something is on the left around a corner and theres a message saying left.. Dont put a message saying "right" to try to f'ck with the next guy... Put a message that says "Watch out behind".. thatll really get em.

True, that is annoying. It's the price we pay for the helpful messages though.

I see message pretty randomly and not always helpful but some does :)) However it make me feel like we aree interact with the world in some ways :v

It does. The OP was trying to rest at a grace someone had put a message next to, and the 'switch action' prompt wasn't appearing, probably because the activation point of the grace was misaligned, which seems to happen occasionally with graces that appear after a boss is defeated. This is another example of the bug, which appears to have crept in with the 1.03 patch.

Discussion started about player messages blocking grace activation points. Later it was discovered that messages are not actually blocking them, but the reason it is impossible to activate some graces that appear after bosses are defeated is because the actual activation point is misaligned with its visual representation. Screenshot is showing this problem. There are no messages on it, but activation point (where I am currently standing and prompt to activate the point is displayed) is quite some distance from where you see the grace point.

True I have the same problem with another grace and after circle around a little bit i've been able to touch the Grace. This happened at the Grace after you fight with Magma Wyrm Makar.
