ELDEN RING
This Boss seems impossible BC & Maliketh Black Blade IDEAS?
:steamhappy:STRATEGIES?
MOSTLY if not all, for Maliketh. BC isn't all that hard, a little.
I guess you have to memorize his move set but, he's just Death, Like I get killed before I can memorise anything. This is far harder than anything I've experienced with a ''Souls'' game. I'm level 99, and have plus 19 weapons. I've tried a magic weapon build, and dex, and now I'm using a strength build, by altering stats.

I'm using a claymore, mace, fancy dagger, error-(washing pole)-error NOT WASHIING POLE I meant the spear The PIKE , I have a Long bow upgraded. I have a medium shield and a large tower shield, all upgraded to plus 19 as well as a short bow. (I'm not using them all at once, ok?) I have lots of talesmons n armor too.

I can't put together a combination that can beat them. (I'M AS SKILLED AS I'M GOING TO GET, but u say git gud, its ok) I've been playing these games for over a decade since when Demon's Souls first came out, if anything, I'm getting worse due to age.

The only solutions I can think of is to level up and finish upgrading my weapons......which means more farming.... (SUCKS)....Guys beat this at soul level ONE and I can't do it at level 99 and with all my experience playing ''souls'' games. I'm not against cheeseing bosses, if need be, and that whorefrost got patched just before I got there (I just found out about it, and don't have that ash), when I was on the godskin duo, which I beat no cheese- to show my skill level, although, I had help, but I could probably beat them alone, maybe. To be honest, I'm not that talented....I usually find a strategy that beats the bosses....
Any Ideas???? go ahead and write get gud if it makes you feel better.

This feels like a Pro Skater asking some regular guy to skate vert, or a Pro supercrosser asking some dude to do some laps on the test track, u get it? You wont be able to do it.....like juggling on a bicycle. Whats the latest cheese?

you should 100% be at +25 by now. the game's given you multiple chances to get the slab equalivent, and every smithing stone bell should also be avaiable. (even SL1 will use +25)

you're def underlevelled too. if you wanna farm you should Go to mohg's castle using the teleporter to the west of the consecrated snowfield, and farm the enemies there. you get like 30k+ in 1-2 mins from enemies literally sitting there doing nothing next to the grace.

ashes are your best friend. They're not "cheesing", they're in the game for you to use.
Actually its better to just kill the bird, one shot from an arrow and you get over 10k Runes, thats basically 10k Runes every 10 secs or so.
Just a funny thing that happened, I must say....I summoned 2 friends and I entered the boss arena and BC teleported behind me, or moved so fast I could barely see him and insta killed both my friends on one of the probably 50 or more tries I've had at this Boss Fight, lol.
And my Friends always die.

This is what I figured, or ''fingered'. get it? So what Level are you supposed to be when you fight these guys? Not weapon level, but what character level are you supposed to be?
I would suggest weapons with a lot of stagger value: Malicat (or is he more of a dog? Eh, it's always dog) is more o less a glass cannon. What I mean is, I won by being super aggressive, not giving ground and sticking to him with my bleeding halberd. No shield and a lot of ash of war (Phantom Slash).
I won 3rd try, but only because during the 1st one I fell to my death while dodging XD.

The Draconic Tree Sentinel was harder, for me at least.

Before defeating that guy you should consider that after killing him, leyndell completely dissapears, if you have nothing else to do in the world besides going against the last boss, you should definitely kill him. Also, you should be i think 120, but like people mention before +25 weapon should be easy to have now, it increases a lot more DMG. Also what matters the most is your build, How much VIGOR do you have, it should be 50 at least by that point so you can sustain 2 or 3 blows i think depending on your armor set.

Your talismans are important as well, you have the ones increase HP and DEF or other stats? There is just too much to consider, it depends in how you are playing your game.

You are basically at the endgame now, so you should also have the 14 flasks and 12 sacred tears. You are just making things difficult for yourself if you dont have the neccessary items for the fight, including a +25 weapon.

DTS is a ♥♥♥♥♥. It took me a while to learn his moveset. That horseman just like him outside of the Maliketh boss fight was tough also, it took me less tries than DTS. Maliketh is rng-ing me to death I think. I watch youtube videos of guys beating Maliketh and it looks like a different fight. Its like the game knows I'm not using a plus 25 wep and is going crazy because you're not supposed to beat that boss with lower leveled weapons, possibly, a theory. But BC really did a teleport to kill my 2 friends once, thats got to be increased difficulty due to not meeting a requirement Myazaki had in mind.
I know, if I level up my weapons it puts me in a different summoning tier and I can't help or fight guys that I can with plus 19 weapons. So I'm at an advantage of having end game equipment and still matching with mid-end game guys.

The fireball isn't bad if you roll forward through it and then he will do it again and you roll through it for a strike on the horses head or right in the nose....Thats the best way and when you get the timing down, its like a free hit. What I hate is how he spazzes out when he's almost dead....I died with a little smige on his health bar literally, 3 times in a row. Then I beat him, but I poisoned him, but I still fought him while he was poisoned. You have to do it a few times, and I frosted him with a straight sword a lordsworn's straight sword which I forgot to put I also have at plus 19-you can see where I put my money.
Mimic Tear Summon is the most helpful still even after the nerf. I defeated it twice now as Faith Caster. It is definitly hard but after a while u understand the dodge windows. Also utilize the pillars as much as possible. When he uses his combo where he jumps up and throws 3 black blades on you before diving in you need to move behind a pillar to avoid the first 3 hits and then dodgerole the last one that will piece through the pillar.
My advice OP, is when he goes into the second phase and starts jumping and spinning slashes, don't bother trying to dodge, get behind the pillars, he can't break them, use them to avoid the attacks then slash 1-2 as he ends his combo, rinse repeat

In the end, I won the DTS naked for the fast roll: the timing of its attack was messing with my head.
you just said it yourself OP, you don't get a chance to learn his moveset because fight is KO immediately. he is actually pretty easy, but you gotta spend some time to learn his attacks. best way to learn is to stay in the arena more and therefore having a large hp will help, try morgott's rune.

ha ha, I guess you had to really show him, Like Valstead in DS2, he is easier in light armor or naked than with heavy armor, due to stamina and rolling.
I feel you dude.
Same here I am 38, perhaps we are simply rusted.
I started too with demons souls on ps3 10 years ago.
Did DkS1 naked sl1, no huma, no shield, only close range on all bosses.

But Maliketh of Elden Ring was too much (close range, no summons)
There is an item that allows to parry him, and he gets stagered.
You get this item from an invader. In the same area, quite near the staircase that leads to the boss area.
I used this item after lot of tries, and got him immediately with it.

Using a shield (what I did in my first playtrough) is a very bad idea against some bosses.
It is good for phase1, but not against phase 2 Maliketh. This guy is Artorias on steriods. Be agressive with him, dodge, and parry him with the item when his blade glows golden.

By the way. do not farm, but explore more. Other players mentioned this. Your weapon should even be +25 by now.
I did this boss level 110 and weap+25 yet never farmed.

On another side, prepare to suffer with "the goddess of all that is cancer" (if soloing on close range) People are trying her more than 6h and pray for rng.

Thanks Tyrel. I'm guessing that consumable item can be reused? I hope so, because if I have to resort to a parry, I may need a few tries.
Ya, I'm 43, so don't feel too bad, but we are a generation of gamers. I had the Atari. In fact, I almost don't even remember a time without video games, but I do, we had G.I. JOE to play with and sports, road Hockey and basketball. lol Ahhhh.......The good old days.....
