Renna's Rise Blocked Shut

Any idea how to open Renna's rise? It is blocked shut.. I have watched every video on youtube on how to open it. I have been to nokron city, collected the fingerslayer blade, gave it to Ranni the witch, took the statue and inverted the carian study hall, collected the curse mark of death and the stargazer heirloom. Still the door is shut. I cannot open it. Nor have I encountered blaidd at the Siofra wells. Is this a bug? Any help would be appreciated.

Have you talked to the giant and help Blaidd with the Evergaol boss?

Hmm, in my case I collected the curse mark of death, returned to Ranni's rise, went to her chamber, activated grace, saw on a map that the grace is pointing towards Renna's rise, I went there and it was open.

I haven't had any similar trouble with this quest, and I'm nearly at the end of it right now.. although I started all of it and finished around 75% before the patch.

Entirely possible things could be messed up. Graphical issues are still present after the patch, so it's apparent fixing things aren't on FS' priority list if people aren't crying hard enough.

If all else fails, reset the zone. Best is to rest at a grace and pass time.

Weird, it opened up right after I gave her the fingerslayer blade but I talked to Blaidd a few times in Siofra River early on in the questline.

I'll try and contact from software regarding this.... I'll probably give up on this quest for now.... i had another issue with a couple of dragons vanishing on me in mid fight.... I tried passing time as well on grace site, but that didn't work either....

There are some dragons that go to a different position once you deplete some hp on them. In rannis questline.. there is one of them.

Super late reply, but that's potentially not Ranni's Rise. Ranni's Rise is to the left of that tower, guarded by a dragon and some wolves
