Killed patches but want the bull set, anything I can do?

If you killed him, he should've dropped his bell bearing which you can give to the creepy twin husks in roundtable hold. That will bring his shop to them

You should be able to get patches as a vendor in the hold, by giving the ball bearings to one of the vendors there.

Honestly i should have just killed him, he moves as the game progresses, its super annoying.

You get a quest from him later that you get the bull-goat armor set from. He doesn't sell it so you can't buy it.

I thought it was covered in flailing human arms/hands...

Thats a different boss, the one im talking about is the guy with a bunch of thorns around his armor, that uses an Executioner Greatsword that flies around with a red aura.
