reminds me of the capra demon from DS1. tiny ass arena for such a big and fast boss. he's already active and ready to hit you barely half a second upon entering the arena. have a high probability of getting owned before you have time to do anything.

U suppose to fight them with torrent except the first one, put some heavy armor but not to much so u can fat roll make healing items for torrent, i used a great sword mostly using l2 and r2 i managed to hit the eye like this, he is vulnerable to strike damge, this fight its actually pretty fun with torrent

do not bother trying to hit his face unless you already end up near there, otherwise he will recover and you will lose the opportunity to do anything. just like the guy said hit him anywhere else and deal with his large health pool

i was using dual greatswords when i fought him first time, both +20, yeah damage i dealt was really bad too, but you can do it

It has quite high physical resist, but is weak to fire and magic. Recommend swapping out your weapon arts to give bonus fire or magic damage, it basically doubled my damage against the fullgrown one up at Mt Gelmir.

Other than that, most of it's attacks are very telegraphed and easy to dodge. Just be mindful about getting greedy, this is a war of attrition, not a sprint.

same reason your uchigatana will barely hurt the crystalian enemies. you need blunt weapons to beat through crystal/rock type enemies. just as heal spells can insta kill certain wraiths/undead as well.
