It still works, although I feel like it's harder to get the bird to drop down than before the patch. Now it's like a 50% chance it will drop down from the ledge.

If you go to and stand by the nearest albinauric when you shoot the bird it will fall 100%, same after patch.

Unless you are speed running and need a quick rune farm, its not a big deal any rune farms exist. If you just follow the path of the main story alone you will easily end up with rune to throw away. No need to nerf anything.

I would never farm in a game like this as it's totally unnecessary but why do you care if other people do? Let them ruin the game for themselves, who cares? It literally only affects them as you can only be matched with people your level for pvp.

Power-leveling won't make up for their lack of skill.

And i'm the living proof, at level 154 i'm not much better.

So people with even less skill than me at that level will be obvious. It's just going to be like GTA 5 where a 12 year old can be over level 100 but lack any of the skills that should come with said level.

honestly regardless if they patch the bird or not, I don't think killing it is worth it. If you run the sword from the final boss rememberance, you clear all the little guys in one weapon art. Just rinse and repeat. The bird takes so long to die you can almost farm the little guys twice.

It's primarily used for levelling new characters... Not a farm for players that already beat the game.
I've done this multiple times. Able to kill it within 6s, netting me 13k ish per kill. Rinse and repeat.

That makes a little more sense. I sure thought it seemed really inefficient to kill the bird when it takes so long to die.

Pffft I don't even use that for leveling. I use it to farm up money to buy smithing stones

That is one of my favorite uses for it. I'm not even leveling anymore just buying all the supplies i want.

WHy would it ned to be nerfed? I on't rune farm personally but whats the issue if some did?
Not like it affects you, if you invade or play coop you wont be suddenly matched with level 700s at level 20. You're complaining about nothing.
