For those of you who think you've fought a tough boss...

Wasn't to hard for me with level 100 and nearly maxed out ultra great sword.

Most bosses are easier, yes. And this one is no fun to fight against. Nevertheless, there are harder bosses for me (Godfrey, Full-grown Fallingstar beast) and I even haven't encountered Melania or the God Skin Duo for example. And there have been harder bosses at their time at the starter areas (Bloodhound, Crucible Knight, Margit).

So it depends on you level, gear, stats and play style, I guess. And all early and mid games bosses are easy, when your level is high enough.

For me it's the damn hit box, it's on his head and his head moves around hither and tither.

Oh and Godskin Duo will annoy you, watch the fat guy as he rolls around on you, and if you get trapped under his belly against a pillar, it's death.

I see. You can hit the legs or the torso also. Legs are half of head damage or so, but much better to reach.

Astel wasn't so bad once I learned that it's best to run from his circles. Now Malenia... I wasn't even happy after beating her (with two other summons). That boss was a bit overtuned.

Yeah! I'm looking forward ... not, because I already have done both God Skins each on their own. So I'm aware of what will come. :-D

I hate reading about how difficult these bosses are. Making ♥♥♥♥ hard for the sake of it is not fun. I'm still on godrick the grafted, wondering how to beat him, while people post things about terribly unbalanced, almost impossible fights (ex. Malenia). Oh, I can't wait.

I just scaria rotted it and then abused the talisman that increases damage dealt to enemies who have dot going

with Melania its more of a race to kill her the longer the fight the harder it gets

Yea I keep seeing people say Malenia is tough, I haven't fought her yet but i'm dreading it by the sounds of her.

If it can bring some semblance of balance, I also fought Mohg today, and it was definitely a very good boss. Some bosses were a bit too quick for my taste, but Mohg had this feeling of fairness that was missing from the Malenia fight, making it quite enjoyable.
Plus, he gave even more runes, that's nice.

First try with 4 heals left after the cave.
Fought the same boss in a diffrent area before.

1 shot him first playthrough, 2 shot him NG+ both times as a melee Colossal Sword user. Hit boxes are weird if you try and stay under him, need to fight his head basically

You fight Astel twice in this game, and I honestly believe that was the easier version of the two, but that may be cause it was the second one I fought and I had already pretty much memorized its patterns. I think Astel is actually one of the most traditional Souls bosses, since you can actually learn their moves and beat them without ever dodging with the the exception of that horrible meteor shower spell. My only suggestion is to never fight them from below. Astel is like Midir in that it's better to stay in front of their face.
