Morgott disguised himself as Margit the fell omen for some reasons and seeing him coming back later in the game with his true identity now revealed should maybe made our jaws drop on the floor but instead it feels a bit like a joke, literally the scoobydoo bad guy reveal meme but stupider.

Oh is that what happened? I thought it was just another example of reusing a boss skin. I honestly didn't realise he was meant to be the same person, I thought he was just a set of triplets or something.

Yeah i don't like know family tree off the top of my head but they're the same person, if someone can @ George i'm sure we'll get lore info :P

No/very unlikely. I mean I guess if Miyazaki comes out and says something its possible but Morgott the Omen King is his true identity, protecting Godrick in Stormveil. Why he didn't use his real name? Maybe the Mo- is part of a prefix in Elden Ring for Omen that are royalty (hence Mohg, Morgott)

I mean the story is still the same, but yeah if you're trying to keep track of the lore then its a lot lol. But its not much compared to reading like an actual novel or something

Couldn't you go and kill morgott before margrit tho so I don't think they're the same person.
(Before people come complain hes the first boss so hes required, hes not, you can kill any 2 shardbearers to get to the capital)

If you kill Morgott then Margitt doesn't appear. They're the same. Morgott defends his lil brother (Godrick) in Stormveil

Maybe i'm blind but i've checked multiple wiki (fextralife included) and didn't see any mention about grodrick the grafted being part of the demigod siblings.

Morgott is the twin brother of Mogh lord of blood but also brother of Miquella, malenia and Godwyn and Half brother of Ranni, radhan and Rykard.

Why should he care about someone like godrick ?
