How to Downgrade Game Version?
I just want to enjoy my single player experiences. After latest patch, some elements got nerfed so I can no longer enjoy myself in my single player world + I often got issues of mouse + keyboard input got delayed for 5 seconds, for example I was riding horse and the they just go forward for 5 seconds even I pressed right button to turn right and my mouse camera movement also delayed.

Thanks

Given the PVP/online nature, of the game I doubt it.

I believe Steam db has some kind of feature that gives you a Steam link for you download older patches? I've never used it though but I think that's where you might be able to do that.

Honestly, I don't really care about PvP or online features, I just wanted to enjoy my single-player experiences

Neither do I, but that's what the game is made for, its one of the key features of the design, so if you want something else, you'll have to mod or crack it. All the nerfs are for PVP and half the nerfs are dumb, but the game is sold on the PVP bugs...er..features...lol

But I think If you already saved during this patch your save might not be compatible with the previous patch

But you can't downgrade the save.

Hard to do that when you make allrounders of limited stats, the turtle shield nerf was bad, they could have just added 50% more weight or 30% reduction in elemental protection and be done with it but nope they had to go make it a generic medium shield of low protection, the stamina recovery boost is not worth the trade-off. Lots of things are just badly thought out, there's less parity in NPC spells and player spells, they just had to go and merge move sets and enchantment, the ring removal,,ect. THey can;t just make the game based around countering things with gear and rings like you know you do for everything else, they have to go and ruin things. Even the first stomp thing could only need 2-3X more FP used but they doubled FP and halved the damage making it generic and kinda useless outside a few encounters.

See it all the time with anything that has PVP in it and enough of a budget to constantly screw things up from trying to cater to the never-satisfied PVP crowd. Overbalancing is far worse than anything else as far as balancing goes..

Really want to do that, but I am a working guy. So I don't really have much time for too much experimenting...
I often just using what are most people used to save my time..

Thanks for the advice but unfortunately I don't think that's the solution

you do not want to downgrade the game as that would be detrimental to your game experience, thankfully steam automatically updates games to the newest patch before you start them

Just browse YT for 10 mins and find OP build that you like (I think Arc builds are pretty strong now since they fixed Arc scaling on weapons?..), then apply it. If you played for 70+ hours you probably already have plenty of decent weapon options and materials to upgrade them + respec ability.

Imagine thinking that working a job is an excuse lmao.

You can't downgrade. Not how it works.

FromSoft always nerfs cheese builds, as they should, and because of that you're going to have to actually learn to play. It's not a matter of enjoying your "single player" game, it's a matter of playing the game the way the developers intended.

I understand that's a lost concept for some reason, but now it's what you have to do.
