git gud
Tired of the idiots saying "git gud". This game has ONLY been successful in sales because it was vastly more approachable for new players who had never played souls-like games before. They literally have sold 3x the normal number of copies for any of their previous games.
After this patch was applied - concurrent steam users dropped from 500k to 300k. You lost 200,000 concurrent players from one patch. You have to be an idiot of a developer to stay with that stance. The changes that effected PVP, fine, make those changes. But the changes to PVE/solo play, give me a break. The game was enjoyable before, and still difficult for all us new players trying their first souls-like. Back to Hunt I go, and I will disparage this game when asked about it in any of my streams. So fun.
Finally beating a boss solo with skill feels good. It's not as much fun as satisfying. But you won't ever experience that.
Souls games aren't super story heavy. The combat is actually clunky as ♥♥♥♥ I think, another obstacle to overcome.
So what "fun" is to be had?
How it is working for me and everyone else is that it can 1v1 bosses fairly easy and I can just sit emote while I grab a snack and come back to the boss dead. It's pretty simple.
Yet they didn't touch moonveil at all, and you can't even use ashes in "90% of the game". Quality observation.
Not saying mimic is broken or was but you literally show it fighting 3 easy bosses with an OP weapon. I mean the mimic is only as strong as the weapons you give it. Clearly if you give it a dagger it'll get killed but if you give it two giant-crushers with hoarfrost stomp then obviously it can solo anything.
Though tbh this nerf didn't really affect it that much. It's a bit dumber and does less damage but it still pulls agro and it still does good damage (better than majority of ashes).
so sick and tired of "nerf this, nerf that". its a single player game, in which the enemy has big health pool, everlasting stamina and and non ending combos..... (so we do it more unfair? yeah, looking forward to it )so whats the point of nerf the stuff? i dont get it.
Well I restrict my level, (mostly) avoid broken ♥♥♥♥. I try to make it a somewhat fair fight. I will admit there are so many bosses and abilities to learn I'm feeling a little fatigue.
Trying to use pre-fix river of blood on Malenia burnt me the ♥♥♥♥ out
All it did was make lower level players using it hurt more
Higher levels are still just give it a heal with a talsiman in its other hand and then it heals itself since its the only spell it can use and its main hand is some bleed weapon/debuff weapon so it just never dies and debuffs the boss (best is frost since frostbite works on everything)
I could see how mimic could be op as hell with these super builds people are using but you run just a basic lordsworn sword and shield with light armor I could see mimic being weak.
hell at end of journey 2 end boss took like 200 damn hits to kill. After a failed attempt i summoned for the first time in my play cuz just wanted my ending,,,,and dude that joined was taking like 20% of boss life in one hit. Which means we are playing totally different games and that is perfectly fine tis how it should be.
