Well, then I'm boned. I already wasn't able to play online with friends, now I can't play at all. The game crashes, wont even load, if I don't bypass Easy anti-cheat. So I guess I own a broken game now.
Simply google for speedsouls EAC. I used method 1.
Note for FromSoftware Employees: I want an option to install/run offline exclusively without EAC. I don't want multiplayer and I don't want to run janky kernel level code because you presume I am a cheating on a feature I could care less about.
Note for all: I don't condone cheating. I play exclusively offline and even have the game firewalled entirely (both incoming/outgoing) because I don't trust this game to be secure from exploits and malware. I also bypass EAC because I don't trust kernel level drivers developed by companies predominantly owned by other companies beholden to the Chinese government. I simply want a secure single player version not filled with garbage that potentially[/] puts my data at risk.
