I don't want the new patch, how do I stop update/

I've been working towards Sword of Night and Flame and don't want to change my build. How do I prevent the update. I play offline anyway and don't give a ♥♥♥♥ in the slightest about the multiplayer content. I have patch update paused right now and don't know how to prevent it.

1. nerf isn't nearly that bad
2. Both spells that sword does are ♥♥♥♥ VERSIONS OF AN ACTUAL SPELL
3. Sword sucks anyway. I'll rip you inside out if you play with such a toy around me. Dodge city.
4. they outright added a load of content and other improvements, not worth it for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gimmick weapon.

You want the game to be easy? That sword will work until it ♥♥♥♥♥♥' doesn't. You'll start meeting targets that outpace your ability to cast either art in time. That's where legit skill and use of stance breaking comes back into play.

the games so new bro let the devs fix it a little first before you reject all updates. apparently peoples games are running much smoother from this update

because the game isn't actually yours lol

the devs/publish can do whatever tf they want with the game, they can nerf and buff anything they want, you don't have any saying in that

use your trainer if you want no one is forcing you to play legit

WTF are you talking about.. It is a single player game. It is crazy I can't stop an update from ruining my SINGLE PLAYER experience without resorting to a mod to fix it.

This is entirely steam's fault too. Why is it not possible to stop an update from being applied on steam?

Well if you're anything like me, you'll have the update fail to install after downloading the entire ~30GB again anyways lol
