Radahn & Rot Arrows

Do rot arrows not inflict scarlet rot on Radahn? Everything I've read says he's super weak to it, but for the life of me I cannot inflict the scarlet rot status on him with these arrows. I have shot him with 20+ of them in a short period of time and nada.

I used the dragon rot, works really well.

I'm trying to go without Dragon communion stuff if I can but that's my backup plan. Or just letting the summons do it over 15 minutes.

Ok I'll bring like 100 rot arrows and see how many it takes.

I tried a bunch of rot arrows with no success. Used longer range spells to chisel him down, while summoning the mobs. Next time I will do the club run (just kidding).

I ran in and chopped him with rot grease and he got rotted FAST. Sadly I then died and have no more grease. But it does show that somethings wrong with the rot arrows. Other sources of rot are working very quickly.
