this does have me thinking: a player is staring at a stationary monitor.
i get little pangs of hints of it when fromsoft games have water with waves. they do that right. it's like going to the ocean and standing at the shore.
Up till now I have restrained myself to watch any gameplay while waiting, and hoping for a PC port
"Try jumping. Then, visions of horseback..."
with 13 bloodstains next to the ledge
this was my thought too, unstable frames and motion blur. the sitting further from your screen is a good idea too, and i would add in taking more breaks.
i get motion sickness from games too, but its usually from moving the camera, which is usually frames and motion blur
Honestly, they're scumbags for not making the game refresh rate independent. They program games like they're making a SNES game in 1992.
I agree. Its mind boggling that the game isn't refresh rate independent in the modern era. It IS a great game. Its just a shame that even with Motion Blur off, some of us can't play it with out feeling sick. I hope everyone who can play with out issues is having a great time.
