Help explain blood scaling to me!

im currently working on a blood build with my two katanas.. lady M katana (( to those who knows)) and Nagakiba

the Nagakiba has Bloody Slash on it and it looks like it scales with arcane.. since im duel weilding what dose that means if i scaled some points into arcane.. will it help build my bleed faster? im seeing conflicting things when i google the arcane scaling with blood

If it has arcane scaling it increases regular damage and, if I remember correctly, also gives a small boost to the blood status inflicted.

oh so with the bloodbloody slash art of wat if i use the " blood" option which adds a D scaling then it will help the weapon in that way?...what about lady M katana.. wont say just incase of spoilers.. but im sure you know when i say lady M katana

Yes, although a D scaling is kinda not great.
I don't actually know lady M katana, but I know the rivers of blood katana has arcane scaling but it's bugged currently and it does not scale at all.

i wil lget river of blood at some point but seems like what im doing now is fine until river of blood is fixed
