1? 700? Whatever you can handle? All possible

I was level 152 I believe. Couldve probably done it without much problems 50 levels lower.
are you using sorcery vs her? she has EXTREME magic resist. that is also normally a super early game boss, i beat the game around 130 i think
anything frostbite is giga dmg(i had maybe 15 int and it did CHUNKS to literally any boss in the game imo better than bleed but thats just me who am i), hoarfrost stomp, ice spear and since you're also a mage it'll scale good and do even more. i think i beat rennala around 50-70? i beat the game at 160 cause i got the farm area beforehand so i said why not and i thought that would be about where pvp lvl is in part im just tired of leveling to 125 since ds1 could also kamehameha her ass with the stinky night and flame sword. that's all i got for ya gl out there magic man
i'm level 125 and just beat the omen king near the tree

haven't done any grinding but i have done every single piece of side content (used the wiki to find anything i missed)

bosses are easy and enemy's 2 shot kill me and are hit sponges, i need to re spec my build cus i just been throwing stats all over the place

level 50 required ahead therefore
try level 50

As long as you have enough HP, you should be able to beat the game easily enough. I don't believe you even get that much damage from levelling, honestly. I tried going with high damage stats on one character, but had an easier time just running minimum stats to two hand my weapon and full Vigor.

i cleared as a mage around level 100-110, i got easily one shoted as well but if you are careful enough it is doable
levels and stats aren't as important as upgrading weapons and your timing/overall skill.
150 for comfy but I did it at 200. Magic types can finish it as early as 100.
You can be 200+ in 30 mins farming Mogh area, or less.

150 is reasonable stopping point for a hybrid build. 200 allows you to pump 2 scaling stats very high, and without being short on VIG, END, MND.

There are soft caps on a lot of stats, I think it's 55 for STR and DEX, you get increases beyond that, just not quite as much. Int for example can get good gains all the way up to about the 80 mark, depending on the catalyst you're using. So, a full mage probably wants 80 INT with carian regal scepter, or azur's.

At some point with str/dex scaling stats, you're better off getting 25 in FTH to cast Golden Vow vs putting 15-20 more points in str/dex. It stacks with flame grant me strength, and black flame's protection (for extra phys resists). You can get up to 60s range in phys resist by buff stacking, and that honestly helps a lot with mitigating damage, and/or buff a specific element resist to as high as 70s with buffs/physique potion. Getting 70%ish holy resist helps a lot with radagan the undodgeable and elden beast.

I am level 170 so far, and still finding fights very challenging. Some fights, like a late game crucible knight, seem to have an unfair advantage of doing back to back skills without a wind up. I was able to adapt and beat him though. Maybe there is a talisman that allows back to back skills like that.

No such thing in this game. Some bosses have a pretty low downtime between certain attacks.

That's also because bosses hit for 700-2000. So unless you are rocking 5k HP (somehow) you're still going to get rocked in a couple hits.

One strategy I learned to adopt in this game in some boss fights is to take damage in order to save time so I can press harder on offense just to end the fight quicker. It's an intentional, conscious choice to take the hit in order to give one. For example, point blank with a laser beam sword weapon art does an atrocious amount of damage (like 5k+ even), if you lose 1/3rd of your HP bar for it, it's worth the trade, that's what health pots are for. Getting greedy with bleed builds also pays off, I typically stack appropriate defense buffs when I do this (usually physical), so Black Flame's protection + Golden Vow + Dragoncrest Greatshield talisman.

150 but as a mage i don't know
Mages work great for elden beast, certain spells like rock sling have more range than you think in that fight, and you can actually DPS a lot more with a mage against elden beast that with melee weapons in a fight where the boss tends to kite you around the area by moving huge distances at random. If you're a mage, you can kite the boss, instead of the boss kiting you when you use a melee weapon. Stack holy resist on your mage, so optimize your armor for that resist type, use the talisman, the physique potion resist buff, and Lord's divine fortification, you can get like 75 res+ to that damage type, so even if you eat a holy slash or 2, it's not that big of a deal. Eating one of them did like 1/4 of my HP bar. Even eating a big holy nova did about 1/3rd of my bar. EZ PZ, just stack holy resists and toss rocks, and maybe get a comet azur in during a stance break if you're close enough to land it.
