Ringed bloodstain?

So I saw two bloodstains recently that had a ring of runes around it and was glowing a little like a highly praised message. Both had a name attached to them but it was a single Japanese character I don't know. It was like, "Touch [Japanese]'s Bloodstain". Both of them the same name. After activating it nothing seemed out of the ordinary. They died.

What's up with it? Does this one person just get special bloodstains or something?

Its due to you being apart of a muiltplayer group. If you go in to the muiltplayer options, you'll see you can set a password for both match making, and for being lightly tied too people.

I do have a group password on, but its only with two people I know. I don't know any Japanese people.

I think it'll work if those people are using the same password

That's the thing. As far as I know its only us three. And the password is not a common word or anything like that. It's the name of an independent game dev business.

I now understand what the bloodstain is about, but the answer is just more confusing for me cause of that.

I've been seeing them too and my password is specific for my brother and I. I see messages that glow with that same character. I feel like it's a dev or something? Anyone have updates about it?
