Ideal Dex for casting speed
What's the soft cap for dex in regards to casting? Is it even viable to persue?

Can't you just say the number? This is like handing someone a math book when they ask you an approximate value of pi.

No

to see any difference, even if its small you have to increase dex by increments of like 10.

also it does not really do anything to the initial part of the casting, like winding up the spell. it changes the speed that the spell goes off.

Thanks I just analyzed the video.

Sussing out the math, you seem to get 1% casting speed every 5 DEX.
If you want 10% more cast speed, then 50 dex is a good number.

Thank you for posting the information in way that doesn't require watching a 14-minute video.

Seriously, 14 minutes and 36 seconds for something that could be summarized in one sentence: 1% faster casting speed per 5 DEX.

Well going through the video, it depends on the spells you want to spam. If you're going for PvP, use Radagon's talisman to invest less in DEX.

I'm so glad they made a simple, easy-to-understand system for us to use :praisesun:

10% less casting time seems fine. 50 dex isn't that hard to get I'm gonna 99 them all eventually.

You could try not having the attention span of a rodent and you'd have seen that it's more complicated than that.

I don't like watching videos of things that can just as easily be explained via text. Reading and writing are much faster than listening and speaking, after all.

No that's pretty much what he said. 48 Dex is 10% and 99 dex is 20% faster casting. That amounts to about 4.9 dex per 1% or 5 dex rounding up.

If you're running PVP then you want other utility stats rather than DEX since you're probably running both Lusat and Azur and Icon. PVE means comets come out faster. I just wanted to know what DEX to shoot for. 50 at least, allows me to wield Hand of Malenia.

We live in an age where everyone feels the need to make/link a 10 minute video when like 10 written words would do. Got to get those views somehow I guess.

Agreed, and the videos usually have some guy that likes to hear himself talk instead of just giving the relevant information.
