banished knights in Catle sol
i mean common they are just crazy.

Sword and shield is still okay but dual sword or polearm is just crazy.
Never stop attacking, freeze move with massive range, insane hitboxes.

Just not fun to fight.

I just found out why people are complaining about him so much.
Him with two of them in that tiny location.

You gotta be kidding me.

Wait until you meet Niall.

The problem is the fight would be actually kinda fun without the stupid knights with him.
But because ist to annoying to cheese them away i will probaply just chesse him altogether.

BEat him solo. If using the sword of night and flame still counts as solo :steamhappy:

The amount of Banished Knights here are sparse compared to Crumbling Azula, who are also scaled much higher. Yes they're still tricky, but to say Sol is the hardest location is just not true. Go fight some Haligtree Knights or aformentioned Azula Banished.

Also for the boss, just use bewitching branches so you dont have to deal with the mobs, and get some free damage in on Niall.

The way I beat him solo with no ashes, is as soon as I enter the arena I rush the location where the dual swords guy spawns (your right side of Niall). If your build is good and your upgrades are up to par, you can kill him before he can even do anything. Then you just kite the other guy away from Niall and kill him as well.

It makes getting to second phase pretty consistent once you get the hang of it.

Their hitboxes and everything else remain unchanged, so that makes no sense. They just do more damage, and have higher hp, and teleport because it's a super late game area. Only thing I think is a bit unfair is the teleportation, it's quite annoying.

I think most of the bosses in this game are quite fair (contrary to all the complaining) but Niall is a blatant case of throwing tough enemies into the arena for artificial difficulty.

As for the banished knights. There is a red eye version with dual swords which seems even more agressive / more HP and also little room to fight. Fu*k that guy.

As for the commander, the fight and moveset is actually kinda interesting. Why the knights? To make players use coop, ashes, or cheese?

Its just and "impossible" or at least very boring and tedious fight just like every other duo or trio fight so far.

I didnt cheeses him completely because i had only two flasks for FP and the flame attack seems to deal more damage but for that you need to go toe to toe.

I finished the last third of the health bar with my uchi. So it was not completely without honor XD

Also another fight were low equip load is actually very usefull. Your armor is of no use if it keeps getting you hit.

Stronger, red-eyed versions of enemies have been a thing since the first Dark Souls.

I disagree. They are a tough fight, but far from the hardest.
