If they can be copy pasted, so can I.
They're there for a reason and players are expected to use them.
That cant be true....
how can boss AI basically get confused when fighting more than 1 player when it was designed to fight multiple enemies ?
simple example.
U can be 1 health and boss is after you and you would easily die
summon attacks boss in the back -> Boss ignores you and goes after summon
I dont think the bosses were deseigned with summons in mind,
I do think summons were designed for players to not have to care about boss mechanics if they dont want to
I personally try not to use them except in particularly hard dual-boss fights, but doesn't mean anyone that DOES use them should be shunned...
tell me miyazaki didnt want people to use summons, because somehow theres a whole lot of bosses come in pairs now
i disagree, bosses now have lots of AOE and swipe attacks to hit multiple targets. 120 hours in, i can safely say that summons are part of the mechanics and if you're good at it it can be optional as well. saying that summon is for people who want to ignore mechanics are just plain wrong.
On my 3rd playthrough I used Mimic Tear. This ash is actually just busted. Once you get it to +10, it can almost solo a lot of optional bosses.
Supposedly Tiche is just as busted, if not more so, but I haven't had a chance to play with it yet.
Overall my point is that the game feels like it was designed to use ashes and you're really putting a hamper on yourself by not using them.
