Should I do all Volcano Manor sidequests before finishing the Capital?
I haven't killed a story boss since Rennala and I'm antsy to continue the plot but the Altus Plateau and Mt. Gelmir have so much content that I don't want to be locked out of whenever I finish with Leyndell.

do as much as you can now, its not going anywhere for a while, just don't kill the snake boss in the volcano manor and your fine

You can't. The last quest requires you to go beyond the capital

I'm in a similar situation, any idea if finishing the Volcano manor questline negatively affect any other quests?
My understanding is the Volcano boys are KIIIIIIIIINDA crazy.
I don't wanna go help a bunch of psychos if it means I break the few questlines available that revolve around reasonably.... sane tarnished.

There's a safety feature involved by the time you get to the no-turning-back point of the game, involves a dialogue choice and it's incredibly obvious

That being said, do the volcano manor invasion stuff first, if you go explore the legacy dungeon and kill the optional boss there, the questline gets skipped.

Volcano Manor quests don't affect anything and don't lock you into or out of any endings.

You kinda feel like trash for hunting AI tarnished 'cause they seem like mostly good guys, but the loot is dope and there's no repercussions.

If you want the armor that is in the promotional material, you will have to complete the questline.
