Help: Missing Rya

I am trying to complete the Dung Eater quest and it appears I need to start the Rya quest. However, I went to the spot many guides are saying she is at and I find nothing. I have talked to the bandit at the nearby shack in hopes that I may have talked to her previously and I get nothing. Is this an issue, or something I may have just missed the timing and cannot get back?

there are 6 seedbed curses in total and you only need to give 5 to dungeater

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know, you can get 5 seedbed curses WITHOUT Blackguard questline giving you one.

Rya can be found at Volcano Manor. You don't really need the invitation to get there. However, if you've already killed Rykard, then Rya will disappear. Leaving your only option to do NG+.

I started a new game + and have come across her then. Only thing that really happens is you get the necklace and she invites you to the manor. I think you have to catch her before the manor.
